I highly, highly recommend this course and the instructor if you’ve had an intro anytime in the past. HTML5 is a relatively easy coding language to learn the basics of. However, like all programming, the overall difficulty will depend on each learner’s experience, available resources, and ultimate goals. It may be worthwhile to learn CSS skills in tandem with HTML. At this point, we’ve already looked at CSS fundamentals, how to style text, and how to style and manipulate the boxes that your content sits inside.

I’m going to find some other course that either doesn’t use bootstrap or uses the updated bootstrap. I think this course would be much much better if it did not rely on Bootstrap. It’s a great program but it involves a lot of complexity that doesn’t seem to be necessary at a beginners level. Since HTML5 revolutionized how websites look and function by introducing more possibilities for both users and web developers, it remains at the core of modern websites and applications. For those interested in a web development career, it is important to master this markup language.
